Janel began her yoga practice in 1995. She attended her first class with the intention of gaining strength and flexibility. Quickly she found much more than the physical practice. It was the connection to her inner self that really drew her in.

Janel is certified in TriYoga Basics and Level 1 and is currently a Level 2 Intern.

Her love for yoga is shown by the way she interacts with her students. She will accommodate people at all skill levels as she creates a comfortable environment where students feel free to progress at their own pace.

I have been doing Yoga since 1985. I began to intuitively know things for which I had no words or exposure. I knew that I needed yoga and that it had a way of making sense and organizing what was happening to me. I am certified in Kali Ray TriYoga®. I also have a back ground in internal style martial arts and south asian dance. I deeply appreciate the wonderful flows of TriYoga. I have tried several systems of yoga. One day someone offered to show me their yoga. It was TriYoga and I immediately knew that was the one! In my own life it has been a very important tool for transformation and it has integrated my experiences increased my power to feel joy. It gently, systematically, and thoroughly increases strength and flexibility. More importantly it begins to awaken the prana (energy) and move it through the nadis (pathways.) I go regularly to Kali Ray the founder of Triyoga to further my own understanding and to enjoy the Triyoga flows. I always find that it goes deeper.

Nancy "Narayani" Paris
Hi, I'm Nancy Paris. I am a certified Kali Ray TriYoga® teacher. I have been practicing yoga since January 1994 and teaching since January 1999. Since I began practicing TriYoga, my strength and flexibility have noticeably improved (and continue to do so) and my possibilities in life have expanded. I enjoy teaching TriYoga Basics and introducing yoga to people because it can have such a wonderful effect on many aspects of life. Basics is a complete yoga practice and it establishes a foundation for Triyoga's upper levels. Teaching Level 1 and Level 2 is very rewarding as well. The classes may be more challenging, but the benefits are great.

Practicing yoga helps us relieve stress, improves concentration, and promotes better health. We feel better when we do yoga and the studio is a great environment. Yoga is deeply beneficial in ways we may not even see, and it's fun!
